Ta’allum Welcomes New Heads of Secondary School

Ta’allum Schools are delighted to welcome a new Head of Secondary in each of its three Academies. All are determined to continue building a culture of excellence in Ta’allum schools.

Fionnuala Doherty, from Mayo in Ireland, joins with extensive and highly successful international senior leadership experience in Ireland, Moscow, and Kiev.

Andy Hubble at Al Maha School for Boys has over 10 years’ experience as a head teacher in 2 schools in the UK.

James Batts, previously Head of Primary at Al Jazeera Academy now moves up to the Secondary School. He has worked in the UK and the Middle East, both as head teacher and in the inspection service.

Peter Kubicki, newly appointed as the Secondary School Improvement Consultant and having served as Head of Secondary at Al Jazeera Academy for the past 4 years, said ‘We are very fortunate to welcome such talented and experienced leaders.’

‘There is a wealth of collective experience in our group, and we are confident that our new heads will help consolidate the significant Ta’allum improvements of recent years and drive Ta’allum schools to the next level. Our joint priorities in this exciting year ahead include securing WASC accreditation and most of all ensuring consistently good and outstanding teaching which brings great success for all our young people,’ Mr Kubicki added.
